It was my friend's theme birthday party last weekend and I couldn't be more excited to dress up like a character, straight out of story books! As a child I have been obsessed with Disney princesses (tell me someone who isn't) but yes, I love them all but my favoritestststststststs has been Princess Jasmine from Aladdin. She is the closest I could relate to ever, love her eyes and the turquoise style that she pulls off. I was sent 2 beautiful products from INGLOT to review and I tested them for this tutorial that you guys would totally love!
This tutorial is pretty simple, the two most important things you need for this are a good looking blush on and a prefect shade of eye-shadow that makes you feel like you are princess Jasmine! Of-course you need a base, a concealer etc but these two are the most important elements of this tutorial.
After applying the moisturizer, I have used Pond's BB cream, my go-to product! I use this as a concealer and skin smoother. This fixes up all dark spots and gives evenness to the skin. Spread well using fingers to get the best results.
Step 3 is caking up! I live foundation by MAC and I use studio fix fluid that doesn't make my face look like a cake. I am someone who loves to live in bare skin all the time and makeup to me only seems possible because of a mac foundation. I use a flat brush for a perfect application of this product.
Step 4 is doing the eyes! I don't use primers on the eyes mostly because they didn't really suit my eyes, but I have figured a better product for my eyes that highlight them just perfectly. It's a foundation by The Body Shop. Liquid foundation, comes with a spray pump and you need to use a very small amount to even out your eyes.
Step 5 is to apply a metallic blue on the curve of your eye. I am doing this just add more definition to the base color .Before you use any colour, just use a face powder, Compaq on the entire face and eyes.
This is two steps coupled together. I have used a silver eye shdow under the eyebrow to highlight the brow area and then I lined my eyes using color bar liquid liner. You can pardon me for the poor lighting in the second imagery :p
This is possibly one of the best blush on's I have come across in recent times. The face blush in 21 is perfect for any look where you are doing bold eyes or bold lips. This is peachy and looks absolutely natural after application. It is appropriate for Indian skin tone and warmer complexions. The texture is very light and not at all creamy. This stays for really long and is perfect for anyone who wants to highlight cheek bones.
And for lips I used rosy nude lipgloss from bobby brown, made my hair into a pony and wore a head piece which is a neck-piece from paperlillie.com and I guess I am now ready to find my ALADDIN ;)
Hope you guys enjoyed the tutorial, would love to hear your take on this. Oh and yes, don't forget to check out INGLOT for their extensive range of eye shadows and blush on's.
