New restaurants, new eateries in the city always make me excited! But with a lot of food tasting comes greater responsibility of reviewing the same. The latest place that #TeamGuiltybytes tried and tested was Terminus 1, Ambience Mall, Vasant kunj. As the name suggests, it's a junction for travelers but what really sets it apart is it's menu which opens up like an atlas. From ISBT Maggie to grilled pork skewers, they have global dishes squeezed in their menu.
The decor is like a travel land, where you have elements that remind you of vacation every now and then. This place is nicely lit and the interiors have been done up very well. With the introduction of molecular gastronomy our first dish of the day was a Thai curry mousse, served in the form of foam, cooked in the sous-vide method which ensures that the meal retains most of its natural juices and flavor. It was stunningly delicious.

For our starters, we chose 2 vegetarian dishes, 1 chicken dish and a salad. And let me tell you, of all the starters, salad gets our vote of power! We ordered Thai Chilli Chicken which was chicken morsels tossed in red Thai curry paste and oriental vegetables. It has a very strong flavor of lemon grass which we absolutely loved. Then we had Maftoul salad which is a dish that we would recommend to everyone. It's is a scrumptious amalgamation of couscous, dry fruits, tomatoes, olive, onion, pomegranate with sweet pomegranate dressing. Another favorite starter was clotted curd croquettes which is cottage cheese and hung curd with Indian herbs and served with mango relish. The mango relish was absolutely yum. We also had Chimichurri Mushrooms, buttoned mushrooms with onion, cooked in butter which were not really that tasty as compared to other dishes. For drinks, we ordered Oreo cookie shake and kiwi fruit, oatmeal and thandai smoothie.

After a round of great appetizers, we moved to mains. For mains, we opted for a T-1 burger with Moroccan spices. I opted for a lamb patty with tomato, pickles, onion, cheddar, sesame sumac brioche. The lamb patty was juicy, full of flavors and mouth melting. The burger bun was so beautiful and had a pinkish colour in it due to a spice, absolutely loved the freshness of the bun and the crispy fries along with it.

We coupled it up with two different, veg flat breads which were again very crisp and crunchy on the base. though it lacked a generous amount of cheese on it, it still get a big thumbs up from us. Simply veg was our pick out of the two. It had goat cheese, roasted artichokes, olive oil and mushrooms. The other side was Da Vinci, with olives, sun dried tomatoes, basil pesto and pickled onions.

For desserts, we had by far one of the most amusing and yet an extremely delicious dessert of all times. It's called as Karachi Halwa Brownie Cake. Amusing, isn't it? A beautifully baked brownie was served with vanilla creme anglaise, pistchio and rosewater. The brownie was sandwiched with karachi halwa filling that made it an exotic dessert, truly!

We loved the menu with a very large variety, and yes, it's a meat lovers paradise! For vegans we have listed the options above. Meal for two costs about INR 1500 inclusive of taxes.
Will I be visiting it again? An Absolute Yes.
