The most heart-rending separation of the year, which left the entire nation to tears was the split between Hrithik Roshan and Suzzane Khan. The fairy-tale romance and wedding of 17 years between the beautiful Damsel Suzzane and the Greek god Hrithik came to halting end admist rumors of cheating. But the confirmation of separation came after four months of speculation about the split. They both share the custody of their sons – Hrehaan and Hredaan after the divorce.

2. Mariah Carey & Nick Cannon

News first broke of this couple’s divorce back in August when Nick Cannon allegedly told The Insider that him and Carey were living apart. The couple have 3-year-old twins. The couple have been trying to work out custody of the children and their property.

3. Ricky Martin & Carlos Gonzalez

After dating for several years, the two handsome dudes decided to end their relationship this year. The split came after complications arose from their long-distance relationship . They have two children, via a surrogate in 2008.
