How I love everything Indian?! This month's My Envy Box celebrated our Independence day and captured the spirit of desi ness in the beauty box. From the gorgeous cover design to the Indian beauty products, the beauty subscription box themed their August Box as India Mon Amour. Read my review of the box in today's post as I unveil the products I received this month.

1. Hedonista – Oudh Frozen Itar for Rs 1,045 

 This was my first time I used a frozen itar in a balm like texture and I have to admit that it has become a go-to product. I carry it to my office and dab a small portion every-time I switch between meetings.  It has a fragrance of warm vetiver and rose which is a beautiful combination. 

2. Suganda Neem Green Tea Mask for Rs 900 

It was another full sized product and also the second favorite from the pack. It is a mask for an acne prone skin but because it has the goodness of neem and green tea, it is good to treat any pimples, scars or oil. The powder mask can be mixed with warm water for the application. It also reads to combat sun damage but I simply love the idea of neem and green tea on the skin. 

3. Soultree Ayurvedic Kajal for Rs 350  

Honestly I am not a very big fan of Soultree kajals simply because they smudge like crazy. While it is a ayurvedic kajal made out of black carbon collected from vegetable oil lamps, I still think there are better options available. The kajal lacks pigment but can be used by someone who is cray, cray for Ayurvedic kohls. 

4.  Forest Essentials Iced Pomegranate & Kerala Lime Body Mist for Rs. 1,475

The showstopper product for me was the Forest Essentials Iced Pomegranate & Kerala Lime Body Mist. I absolutely love the smell of the mist that has a mix of pomegranate, lemon, wheat germ oil and pure aloe-vera which gives a long-lasting fragrance.
