It's Independence week and we are reminiscing all things that make us a proud Indian. Every time I listen to this version of the national anthem, my heart fills with utmost pride and respect towards our Indian Army troops who are guarding the frontiers in insane conditions. This national anthem has been shot in Siachen, the highest battlefield in the world. It falls from an altitude of 5,753 m (18,875 ft) above sea level and the average winter snowfall is more than 1000 cm (35 ft) and temperatures can dip to −50 °C and yet the ARMY installation is present there in such conditions just so that we all can sleep peacefully at our homes.
