Indrani Rehman, was an Indian classical dancer of Bharatnatyam and Kuchipudi which she popularised in west. Later she went to New York and became the first Miss India in 1952. She was already married and had a child when she won the coveted Miss India title. She then also, went on to compete for Miss Universe crown held at California.
