Deepika Padukone wanted to take off time from the shoot of Bajirao Mastani and Tamasha, as she wanted to spend some time with her family. When Ranveer Singh heard the news that she wanted to go to Bengaluru, he decided to accompany Deepika's  parents.
According to the sources of Deccan Chronicle, "Ranveer has always tried to get close to Deepika's family, may be because he wants to take the relationship to the next level, but she has been a bit averse to the idea so far. She likes to maintain a distance from him in the presence of her family. Ranveer, at this point, is a lot more hurt and angry about the incident that he is willing to show".
