When it comes to matte lipsticks, more said the less. It's because matte lipsticks give a beautiful finish to the lips and are the hot trend this fall season. Every makeup brand is coming up with its range of matte lipsticks and they are proving to be the best sellers.
But of course, once when glossy lipsticks were in trend, keeping a collection of the same was inevitable. So, it certainly does not mean that your glossy lipsticks should land into the bin.
Shiny and glossy lipsticks can be easily mattified just using powder (compact/loose). All you have to do is apply your lipstick the regular way and using a brush or your fingers, just dab in some powder on top of it till it disappears and finally dab the lips with a tissue. Repeat the process three-four times till your lipstick is totally mattified. This will also help the colour stay for much longer on your lips and appear simply matte.
