So the big news is that Bombay High Court says Salman Khan cannot be convicted in the 2002 hit-and-run case! This decision has come since the prosecution failed to prove that the actor was driving under the influence of alcohol or was behind the wheels.

The actor’s Toyota Land Cruiser had rammed into five people who were sleeping on a pavement in the wee hours of September 28th, 2002.

Salman Khan has not been proven guilty in the famous 2002 hit and run case. 

However there is an update that the Maharashtra government is all set to appeal against Salman Khan's verdict.
