REMEMBER that we told you that there were issues between Farhan Akhtar and Adhuna Akhtar?They have decided to party ways after 16 years of marriage. The couple have decided to call it quits and according to the sources have mutually separated.

Farhan and Adhuna are said to have released an official statement which read, "This is to announce that we, Adhuna and Farhan, have mutually and amicably decided to separate. Our children remain our priority and it is immensely important to us, as responsible parents, that they be protected from unwarranted speculation and public glare. We sincerely request that we are given the privacy that is required at this time to move forward in a dignified manner."

The Akhtar couple met during the filming of Farhan's directorial debut Dil Chahta Hai, in 2000. This is sad, really sad.
