Sonam Kapoor's cousin Priya and Sikander Kher are already engaged now. According to SpotboyE, Sonam Kapoor brought Sikander in Priya's life. Priya had been in a very troubled state of mind since last year, when her then fiance Aashish Mahbubani passed away after a sudden cardiac arrest post workout in a gym. Priya and Aashish were madly in love for six years. Then Sonam went across and sat down with her for a long chat explaining her that she had a life ahead.  During the chat only Sonam told her that Sikander was very fond of her and the rest is best known to all. 

A source said,"Sikander liked Priya since several years, even while she was in a relationship with Aashish. This of course did not facilitate Priya to take her decision, it was still an extremely tough call."
