Being engaged comes with plenty of excitement and all the brides really look forward to their engagement shoot. While many of you may have budgeted professional makeup for the day of your wedding, here are some makeup essentials that one must save that will help you look like you on your first big day! 

A primer is really essential when it comes to your makeup. It evens out your skin tone and work as a base for the rest of the makeup. Primer also helps you keep the foundation from slipping down your face. Just put few drops of a primer on your fingers and spread it uniformly on your face. 

Next, Choose a foundation that gives you full coverage. An HD foundation is highly recommended, as it will make sure that your face looks good when it comes to your engagement photographs. A good heavy foundation won’t give you a cake face when it comes to a great exposure.  

It is important to use a concealer that matches your skin tone in order to conceal your blemishes and marks. Put a generous amount of concealer around your mouth, your under eyes and on your face anywhere you see redness. After a good concealing routine, apply compress powder to settle your base makeup. 

As a beautiful bride, make sure to be blushed and bronzed. These two products always work together to make you look gorgeous. Don’t skip either, as it will make your face looks flat. Sweep blush onto the apples of your cheeks and contour below the blush with the bronzer. 

It is preferable not to opt for loud make-up for a ceremony that is held during the daytime. If your engagement is scheduled for the evening, then accentuate your eyes with a bold smokey eye makeup. Blend well all over, particularly at the corners of your eyes, since cameras pick up visible makeup lines.
