Rahul  Raj Singh , Pratyusha's boyfriend was booked on 5 April under IPC sections 306 (Abetment of Suicide), 504 (Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace), 506 (Criminal intimidation) and 323 (Punishment for voluntarily causing hurt), has now been granted interim bail by the High Court in the Pratyusha Banerjee case. According to the High Court order, Rahul will not be arrested on a surety of Rs. 30, 000. The actor-producer will also be required to make an appearance at the Bangur Nagar Police Station on a daily basis till April 18.

Pratyusha’s parents are disheartened on hearing about the Bail but they are still hopeful and have faith in the judiciary. They believe that their daughter will get justice and they will not rest till Rahul is put behind bars for good.
