Actress Pratyusha Banerjee who essayed the role of Anandi from Balika Vadhu is no more. She reportedly committed suicide at her residence around 5 pm on Friday. She was just 24 yrs old. According Tellychakkar.com, the actress committed suicide by hanging herself in her bathroom. She was rushed to Kokilaben Ambani Hospital by her boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh but was pronounced dead.
The reason for suicide seems to be her life personal issues. She was in a relationship with actor-producer Rahul Raj Singh and they were soon planning to get married. She allegedly took this drastic step as trouble started brewing up between the couple . She is said to be in depression due to all this.

Pratyusha and her boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh also appeared on Tv show Power Couple recently but stories about a crack in their relationship has been doing the rounds for quite sometime.
