Lately there were reports of Kangana being paid a whooping Rs 11 crore for Vishal Bhardwaj's Rangoon  and it had got people talking about a new change in Bollywood regarding gender pay gap and hoe bollywood actresses are now being paid at par as the actors.

But as per a report on Spotboye the feisty actress was paid Rs 3 crore as opposed to what the claims were made in the first place. When the reports of Kangana being paid the huge sum came out, Kangana never denied those rumors and was reported saying, "I think the kind of films and roles I do takes a whole year... I think it is justified. At some point, we have to come to that place where we are equally paid. It is a small step... we are headed in that direction."

According to the same report in Spotboye, Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor, Kangana's co-stars in the movie produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, are also being paid the same amount. Saif has faced 5 flops back to back and Shahid failed to wow audience after the success of Haider by giving them Shaandaar.
