I have always known Mehak to be the girl next door- minimalistic, pretty and yet very confident. She would selectively sport a lipstick and let her simplicity be the real hero in her personality but it was on her wedding day, I realized how flawless she really was. Today she has reviewed her wedding MUA for all my readers that will help you make a selection for your big day. Here's her story...

It was 2 years ago when I heard about Guru when my friend Neha had finalised him for her bridal make up. The day I saw her make up is when I had decided that whenever I get married I am going to get my make up done from Guru only. 

I had been planning my wedding since I was a teenager. And For a girl who has dreamt of her wedding day zillion times, I wanted to look nothing less to perfect on my Big day.When Guru asked me how I wanted to look, I did not think even for a second, I had it all planned in my head. I am a big fan of traditional stuff and I wanted to look like a traditional Indian bride. I told Guru I wanted to look very elegant and classy and that's how he had also planned my look in his head when he first saw me. And it was a dream realised when I saw myself as the  classy Sabyasachi bride by Guru, exactly how I had pictured myself years ago. 

Guru highlighted my eyes with golden eye shadow with a hint of brown towards the end of my eye and had defined my eyes with dark black kohl. Before deciding what kind of eye lashes I wanted to go for, he asked me if I liked drama or regular ways and I told him to make it look as dramatic as possible and that's why he gave me extra long eyelashes which accentuated the look of my eyes and made them look even more beautiful.

For my hair he gave me a very neat look and tied a bun which was covered with lots of gajra. He added oodles of beauty to my eternal beautiful day.

The make up and hair took about 90 minutes in total.

The package costed me around 30,000 which included - make up, hairstyle and draping. (Every penny spent was totally worth it) Guru is one of the best make up artists in Delhi.
