Winters are here to stay, and if you are a bride-to-be all set to tie the knot in this beautiful weather then read on. The wedding world comes to chaos in winters with temperature dropping, streets getting foggy and wedding bells ringing. It's like a dream to get married in this amazing weather but it has its own sweet problems. So, we thought to share with you a complete list of Dos & Don'ts for to make your wedding fabulous.
#1 Experiment with the Colours!
While you all might think winter colours are just bound to deep blues and hues of green and maroon. It's all a myth. Winters should not stop you from experimenting with the colour palette, opt for blush pinks, mint blues, purple and hues of burgundy.
#2 Wrap yourself up!
We know it's your wedding and with all the excitement going on in your stomach you might not think you will freeze but there are high chances of you getting cold. So, do wrap yourself up or find alternatives like long sleeves in your blouse that saves you from the cold.
#3 Velvet to the rescue!
Velvet is just the right fabric to choose for winters and it's not just limited for the grooms, brides too can opt for this fabric in their lehenga or dupatta. And believe us this season velvet will rule the world. Recently we saw Hazel Keech the new bride in the town opting a velvet lehenga choli in her Chandigarh wedding.
#4 Include Winter Inspired Food in your Menu!
You cannot have ice lollies in winters, no point including them in the menu. Instead opt for yummy hot chocolates to pamper your guests or tandoori snacks or how about serving hot jalebis to your guests while they watch the pheras.
#5 Winter wedding favours!
We are bored of gifting and getting same old mithai ka dabba as wedding favours. Opt for some cute winter blankets, winter cookies or gloves.
#6 Send out your Invites Early!
Don't wait for the end, rather send out your invites soon because so many weddings and functions, you need to be sure what gathering to expect. And also, don't forget RSVP.
#7 Opt for seasonal flowers!
Opting for off-seasonal flowers is a mistake. Rather choose flowers with incredible scent and soft tones jasmines, roses and lilies.
#8 Take care of your hair!
We all have this misconception that our hair gets dry in summer. But actually it's winters that make our hair dry and frizzy. So, at least 2 weeks before opt for deep conditioning spa.
