Sonam Kapoor is always known for her bindass and straightforward attitude. In a recent interview for Rajeev Masand's show five Bollywood ladies got together- Sonam Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Anushka Sharma, Vidya Balan and Radhika Apte. The conversation was on sexual abuse, on which Sonam said that she was molested when she was young. Sonam said "I know I have been molested when I was younger and it’s traumatising."
Known to always be bold with her statements, this revelation from the actor will give strength to other survivors to come out in the open. In fact, Vidya said after Sonam’s comment, “It is not her fault and that is the biggest thing a victim deals with.” Adding to it, Anushka recalls the moment of her childhood when her mother would ask her constantly if she was being touched inappropriately. She expressed at that point of time she would feel silly about her but now it does make sense to her. Radhika said, “I have started questioning morality.” In the end, we see Alia accepted that celebrities live in a bubble. “We really do live in a bubble. Our reality is not reality,” she said.
