It is a well known fact that Ranbir Kapoor's parents veteran actors Rishi and Neetu were never really very fond of their son's girlfriend Katrina Kaif.Time and gain there were reports of Katrina trying her level best to get into their good book, but her efforts were always rejected. Sometimes Mom Neetu cropped Katrina from picture and at other times dad Rishi would get angry if asked about Katrina Kaif, clearly indicating their chemistry with her.

Yesterday was bollywood designer Manish Malhotra's 50th birthday bash which was organised by his best friend and director Karan Johar. Even though Ranvbir Kapoor gave the party a miss his parents showed their presence at the party. Even Katrina Kaif attended the bash and everyone partied under the same roof. 

As per sources Rishi and Neeti shared icy cold vibes with their son's Ex. Even mommy to be and Ranbir's cousin sister Kareena who had once planned to dance on Chikni Chameli on Ranbir-Katrina's sangeet chose to not entertain Katrina much. It was Karan Johar who took up the task of making Kareena and others share pleasentaries with poor Katrina. Katrian congratulated Kareena on her pregnancy but despite breaking the ice, Kat was left alone throughout the party until Alia Bhat Aditya Roy Kapoor and Arpita Khan gave her company.
