Co-creating A Stunning Outfit With Designer Swati From Decode

Designers who take both their art and creativity slowly to their stride are my favorite kinds. When I first spoke to Swati, I knew that she had an eye for details that a lot of people are missing in today’s time. She lovingly creates handcrafted clothing that has both individuality and soul in it that you wouldn’t even sometimes find at the biggest of the showroom. With the advent of the internet I have realized that if you find the right kind of partner/designer then you can co-create a dream outfit for your self and in my case I worked with Swati (via emails) to make this stunning blue lehenga set that I am sure you all have seen in my #weddingbytes promotions. Swati is staying true to Indian fashion with her label DECODE by Swati Jain and is ensuring to feature right shapes that comes with affordable luxury and is elegance at par. It took us one phone call and 3 emails precisely to do this stunning blue outfit. My brief was simple, I needed to get an outfit that I could pair with my wedding dupatta and was in a colour that I hadn’t worn yet. We decided on a dark blue pleated skirt and choli that too had a contemporary look and then she emailed me a few sketch designs. I sent her my measurements that I had saved from my trousseau shopping and she simply followed up on few additional measurements to finally get started on the job! In a matter of less than two weeks my outfit was ready and was couriered to me at my Delhi residence.

Swati’s eye for details and alternative designs in fashion is a force to be reckoned with. From artful use of accessories on the skirt to a well-tailored choli design, she takes conventional outfits and makes them stand out. She is now taking orders for bridal wear, ethnic and contemporary designs and can help your couture dream come to life with her designs.
