Shahid Kapoor is one adorable father, and recently we spotted him getting all candid about her baby girl in a promotional event. When the press asked him about Misha Kapoor, and how he would like to shape her future, Shahid gave a beautiful reply that melts our heart and makes him one dotting daddy.

He said, "My parents have always told me to do what I want to do. They always said that it is not necessary for me to follow in their footsteps. There were no restrictions or expectations. It is very important for parents to understand that though you give birth to your children, they too have to live their own life. So, I mean, Misha is very very small, she is only 8 months old right now, but I just wish that she does what she enjoys. I will support, encourage and love her whatever she wants to do in her life. As a parent, you have to support and encourage your child. Don't burden them with your ambitions. I never want to do that. I just feel happy whenever she smiles. My happiness is in her happiness."
