The India Couture Week has been such a hit and we have been seeing some super amazing work of all the Indian designers. Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty was the Showstopper for designer duo Shyamal & Bhumika"s collection titled- "Princess Soiree." I am going to do a breakdown of her hair and makeup and share why I recommend this look for the new age bride. Celebrity Makeup Artist Shraddha Naik did her makeup and I must say did a fabulous job in making her look so beautiful.
As Athiya's attire had good amount amalgamation of gold and black, so the makeup was done very elegantly, keeping it really simple and not going all over the place. Athiya's eye makeup had beautiful tones of gold and bronze with an added hint of brown as well in order to work the look out. She particularly had very well stunning metallic shade in the inner corners of the eyes, to give a highlighted look to that area (which is definitely a huge trend these days and of course, makes the eyes look even brighter and open) The same bronzy golden shades have been used for the lower waterline, again this is one amazing trend going on at the moment.
The eye lashes were bang on- defined and voluminous. I even noticed that her eye brows have been kept dark but yet they look very natural and not exaggerated. It's a steal worthy look for the wedding season, if I may say so.
Lastly, for the base- its smooth and very well highlighted. A hint of peach blush on has been added on to the cheeks. Love the subtle strokes of highlighter on her face. The lipstick is a winner with peach taking the center stage (Also, ladies please note that peach and nude shades are really big at the moment and should be in your must have lists for the wedding season).
One can't go wrong with open hairdo and since many brides are opting for open yet natural hair (styles) on their big day- Athiya's center parting hair (can't miss how shiny and healthy they look) is a complete winner for us.
