Nepotism in Bollywood is the current hot topic for media and everyone. On 'Koffee With Karan' show Kangana called Karan Johar as ''the flag bearer of nepotism", the word is not ready to leave Bollywood, as soon as we thought it would. Many star kids like Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor spoke in length about it but no one openly accepted the existence of nepotism in Bollywood.

When Ranbir Kapoor, the son of actors Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor and grandson of the great Raj Kapoor, was asked about to comment on it, he said,"It exists in the film industry, and I am a product of nepotism. I am here today because of my parents. My father got an opportunity because of his father. So, I believe if my children choose to be actors, I would like to give them a platform." 

He further added,"If they want to be doctors I will provide them with the education and the backing. Films have been our family business for the past 85 years. Yes, it is unfair to a lot of people who are way more talented than us, but we do get opportunities, and we do get the attention."
